Protection 1 Employee Achieves Certified Alarm Manager Status
Protection 1 Agency Liaison Permit Analyst Brandy Watson.
CHICAGO — Protection 1 Agency Liaison Permit Analyst Brandy Watson has received recognition as a certified alarm manager (CAM). The CAM designation affirms knowledge and expertise in the management, coordination, preparation and implementation of a false alarm prevention program.
As an agency liaison permit analyst for Protection 1, Watson’s responsibilities include ensuring the company is in compliance of city ordinances and jurisdiction requirements in regards to permits and monitoring procedures.
Watson, who started at Protection 1 in 2004, is one of only five people from the security industry who have taken and passed the exam in order to achieve CAM certification, according to P1. The certification is given by the False Alarm Reduction Association (FARA).
