SAMMYs Sees Record-Breaking Marketing Achievements
LAS VEGAS — Attendees at Security Sales & Integration’s annual SAMMY Awards in Las Vegas, held April 1 on the eve of ISC West, witnessed an unparalleled showing of sales and marketing excellence by three companies in particular.
ASG Security of Beltsville, Md., which went into the evening as a finalist in six categories, earned four winning honors. ASG’s Bob Ryan, senior vice president of sales and marketing, went to the podium to accept trophies for best Community Service Program, Residential Sales Brochure, Company Logo Design and Promotional Giveaway Item. HSM Electronic Protection Services collected two trophies, including its third straight grand prize for Overall Integrated Marketing Campaign, while Guardian Protection Services added two SAMMYs to bring its career total to 15.
All three accomplishments are unprecedented in the SAMMYs’ 13-year history.
Also notable, the hotly contested Integrated Installation of the Year honors went to Benson Systems of Gilbert, Ariz. A feature article in SSI’s July issue will detail the company’s sophisticated security system at the Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, Ariz. Security professionals — including representatives from manufacturing companies and security contractors alike — filled a conference room at the Venetian Hotel to network and celebrate the finalists and winners in a total of 12 categories.
