The California Alarm Association (CAA) hosted another successful winter convention at the Parc 55 Wyndham hotel in San Francisco. Held Dec. 5-8, the event attracted nearly 400 industry professionals, including representatives from dealer member companies, manufacturers, third-party monitoring firms and other service providers.

Attendees took part in several seminars and workshops geared to help companies improve their businesses, discuss the latest technology offerings and network with other industry professionals. Industry, Police Join to Improve Sacramento Alarm Ordinance

Patty Hartman Is First Woman to Receive CAA Lifetime Achievement Award

California Alarm Association (CAA) announced during the ISC West Leadership Breakfast Wednesday that Patty Hartman will be the 2012 recipient of the George A. Weinstock Award for lifetime achievement and service to the security industry. Hartman, a former two-term president of CAA, is the first female to receive the award.
