ADI Applauds 2015 North American Vendor Award Recipients
Thermal-camera specialist FLIR Systems is named the wholesale distributor’s Vendor of the Year in the United States; Hikvision gets the nod in Canada.
MELVILLE, N.Y. – ADI Global Distribution announces the recipients of its 2015 Vendor Awards.
Thermal-Imaging specialist FLIR Systems was named the Vendor of the Year for the United States, and Hikvision was recognized with the same designation for Canada. ADI also awarded vendors in the categories of Best Sales Support, Best Marketing Support and Best Supplier Delivery Performance.
Vendors are evaluated based on revenue, sales support, marketing initiatives, inventory results and feedback from ADI’s sales and marketing leadership team. The awards were presented during the annual Vendor Symposium at ADI’s 2016 kick-off meeting held in Orlando, Fla., in January.
The symposium attracted more than 400 attendees representing more than 100 manufacturers. Attendees heard the organization’s plans for continued growth through the coming year and beyond. Vendors had the opportunity to spend time with ADI’s global leadership team and attend presentations given by ADI executives including Michael Flink, ADI Global President; Rob Aarnes, ADI Americas President; and Marco Cardazzi, vice president of marketing North America.
Along with previously mentioned Vendor of the Year recipients, following are the other catetgory winners:
Best Sales Support (U.S.) – Honeywell Fire
Best Sales Support (Canada) – CDVI
Best Marketing Support (U.S./Canada) – Proficient
Best Supplier Delivery (U.S.) – Platinum Tools
Best Supplier Delivery (Canada) – Aiphone
“As a distributor our vendor relationships are vital to our success,” says Flink. “Each of these suppliers has demonstrated excellence in service at all levels which is a testament to the values we hold highly at ADI. We are proud to honor and celebrate their contributions and achievements.”
