Alliance Joins VoIP Solutions
OJAI, Calif. — Alarm service provider NextAlarm.com announces its alliance with VoIP provider Vontronix LLC to form VoIPAlarm.com, a value-added reseller (VAR) program.
In this joint alliance, Vontronix will use the NextAlarm-developed ABN (Alarm Broadband Network) adapter that handles both alarm signals and the Vontronix VoIP (voice over Internet protocol) service. Alarm dealers will then be able to sell and install a single device that gives their customers both Vontronix VoIP service and ABN, a low-cost broadband solution for security system monitoring. According to the companies, the customer will be able to switch entirely to Vontronix VoIP service, using the VoIPAlarm adapter to provide both telephone service and alarm monitoring.
VoIPAlarm is currently available to alarm dealers through ADI.
