Bosch, ADT Continue Parade of Industry Support for Katrina Victims

FAIRPORT, N.Y.

Bosch Security says its North American associates have
contributed more than $232,000 to the American Red Cross to
help aid Hurricane Katrina victims. Meanwhile, ADT is
providing relief to victims of the hurricane and its
aftermath in the fOrm of ripped-up bills.

In addition to its initial commitment of $100,000, Bosch
Security has been matching its associates’ donations,
bringing its total contribution to more than $560,000.

The company urges those interested in supporting the relief
effort to visit the American Red Cross Web site: HREF=’http://redcross.org/donate’

.

ADT Security Services says it will suspend the billing of
its customers in the areas affected by Hurricane Katrina
for the next three months.

The offer extends to all ADT home and business customers
who may still not be able to notify the company about the
condition of their property, while they continue to deal
with the devastation that Katrina caused.

In that time, ADT will continue to evaluate the needs and
status of those properties.
