HID Global President and CEO Denis Hébert Quietly Exits Firm

Denis Hébert, who served as HID Global’s president and CEO since 2002, has left his position at the secure identity and access control products provider. Ulf Södergren has been named interim CEO.

AUSTIN, Texas -Denis Hébert, HID Global‘s president and CEO, has silently resigned from his position.

The access control solution provider has not release an official announcement on Hébert’s resignation; however the former executive’s LinkedIn page confirms the news.

Ulf Södergren, CTO of HID’s parent company ASSA ABLOY, will serve as interim CEO, according to the HID Global website.

Hébert served as HID Global’s president and CEO from November 2002 until May 2015. Additionally, he concurrently served as ASSA ABLOY’s executive vice president from September 2007 until this May.

Before joining HID Global, Hébert, who is who is chairman-elect of the Security Industry Association (SIA), spent 16 years at Honeywell, most recently as president of NexWatch.
