Integrated System Combines Vehicle Identification With Real-Time Video
PEARL RIVER, N.Y. — OnSSI will offer its Ocularis IP video management solution (VMS) with license plate recognition (LPR).
Teaming up with LPR developer INEX/Zamir, the integrated system allows Ocularis to capture license plate numbers despite bright headlights, direct sunlight or low light levels. The LPR technology changes the license plate image into data, according to a release. From there, users will be able to view real-time video and license plate data through a single interface.
OnSSI President Gadi Piran believes the LPR integration will simplify monitoring for end users.
“The integration of these systems [shows] the value of open architecture systems for integrators and users,” he says.
