Louroe Electronics Shows Off Gunshot Detection Technology for NAVY, Others

The demonstration was put on to increase awareness around the technology and Louroe’s audio analytics.

RICHMOND, Va. — Louroe Electronics hosted a live demonstration of its gunshot detection technology on June 23 for school district officials, law enforcement agencies and other institutions at the Colonial Shooting Academy based here. Some notable attendees were CVS and the NAVY.

The company says the goal of the demo was to increase awareness about complete security solutions working together with Louroe’s gunshot and aggressive audio analytics. It was also an opportunity for end users to see first-hand how the audio analytics can serve as a key component to a security system when encountering high-risk situations.

Louroe hosted the event along with manufacturer rep KLM Marketing.

“Security is top-of-mind for our nation right now,” said Richard Brent, CEO of Louroe Electronics, before the event. “We want to do all that we can to make sure our schools and law enforcement are equipped with the tools that can detect, deter and prevent incidents.”
