Mace Security Int’l Fills Vacant Seat on Board of Directors
The company taps Suzanne Hopgood, president and CEO of the Hopgood Group, a provider of crisis management consultation services.
CLEVELAND – Mace Security Int’l has appointed Suzanne Hopgood, president and CEO of the Hopgood Group, to its Board of Directors by unanimous vote to fill the vacant directorship position, effective immediately.
The Hopgood Group is a provider of crisis management consultation services. Hopgood previously served as CEO for both public and private companies, and formerly served on the Board of Directors of PointBlank Solutions, a provider of bullet-resistant vests to both the military and law enforcement.
The appointment fills a vacancy and brings the number of directors in line with the company’s bylaws. Hopgood’s term will be effective until Mace‘s 2015 shareholders meeting.
“As we continue to reshape the organization and move the organization forward, it is a great benefit to be able to get advice from a Board made up of such experienced business leaders,” says John McCann, president and CEO of Mace Security Int’l. “Suzanne adds even more experience and depth to an already robust Board.”
With her addition to the Board, Hopgood will become a member of multiple standing committees.
