Milestone Systems, Pelco Extend Partnership
BEAVERTON, Ore. – Milestone Systems has expanded its partnership with Pelco by Schneider Electric, allowing the video management software (VMS) manufacturer to provide deeper support of Pelco IP cameras.
Pelco is currently a member of the Milestone Manufacturer Alliance Partner (MAP) program. The partnership allows customers to use Pelco’s at-the-edge advanced analytics and have events and information reported and managed by Milestone XProtect software, according to a company press release.
“Our collaboration with Milestone demonstrates Pelco’s commitment to be a true open systems provider,” says Stéphane Lantoine, director of integration operations, Pelco. “We will continuously focus on the areas that will offer flexible, reliable and scalable feature-rich integrated security solutions to our mutual customers.”
The expanded collaboration will also provide more support for channel partners, says Christian Bohn, vice president of corporate marketing and alliances, Milestone.
“We are seeing great advantages for the market by providing better support for Pelco’s advanced technologies,” he says. “This initiative further expands the possibilities for our channel partners, as they now get more options to integrate Pelco’s advanced IP cameras into cutting-edge solutions utilizing Pelco and Milestone technologies to their fullest extent.”
