New Partner Program Teams Up With Industry’s Top Integrators

By Ashley Willis

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — With its new Elite Integrator Partner (EIP) program, ASSA ABLOY is seeking to align with the industry’s leading systems integrators to offer a broad range of access control and locking solutions to end users.

Members of the program will have support ASSA ABLOY Group brands such as Adams-Rite, Sargent, Corbin Russwin, Norton, HES, Securitron, McKinney and Medeco. Other benefits include performance-based incentives and cooperative marketing opportunities.

With its Integration Solutions Specialists (ISS) group, which focuses on end users, consultants and the systems integration community, ASSA ABLOY provides local support to integrators throughout the United States and Canada. Elite partners will also have access to the company’s Intelligent Openings Mobile Showroom, which travel the country showcase products and technologies, ISS Director Mark Duato tells SSI.

So, what makes a company an elite integrator?

“We’re looking for companies recognized as having leadership positions and very strong associated integration skills in their marketplaces,” Duato says. In addition, potential partners must be certified to sell and install ASSA ABLOY Intelligent Openings products. Integrators must have the skills and support infrastructure to deliver these technologies.

One of the program’s first partners is Security-Net, a network of independent systems integrators. The network supports and services both private industry and the government sector with intelligent security system solutions. Every member of Security-Net promotes ASSA ABLOY solutions, Duato says, making the organization an ideal partner for the program.

“The network has been proven to have great value to end users,” he says. “Our goal in aligning with Security-Net in the EIP program is to provide world class solutions to the end customer community.”

For the company, the main goal of the program is to provide technology solutions that will help end users effectively secure their facilities regardless of budget.

“We’re trying to bridge the cost gap for access control with what we refer to as medium security applications,” Duato says. “Our goal is to provide innovative technology that fills the entire spectrum and give our customers various technology options. We allow our partners to provide more access control solutions that better fit the budget and application needs of end users.”
