NSCA Extends Business Survival Conference to Atlanta & Phoenix

The NSCA Integration Business Conference will offer manufacturer training, a Technology Showcase, and business education in two new cities.

After the success of its first Integration Business Survival Conference & Technology Showcase (IBSC) in Chicago, the National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA) announces two additional locations for this regional event.

Atlanta: September 15-16
Phoenix: November 6-7

This new industry learning experience offers customized industry training and education that gives attendees a chance to experience and learn about new technology in small, one-on-one settings.

By offering this event in different regions, NSCA gives integration firms the education their employees need – without a big financial commitment or too much time spent traveling and away from the office.

The events in Atlanta and Phoenix also offer special pricing, thanks in part to funding from the NSCA Education Foundation; registration for the two-day event is $99 for NSCA members and $199 for non-members.

The Integration Business Survival Conference & Technology Showcase was developed based on requests from NSCA members for a more intimate learning environment that offers enough time for networking, asking questions, and direct interaction with manufacturers. In small, focused groups, attendees learn how to thrive when their customers demand more, technology keeps changing, government regulations threaten the industry, and costs continue to escalate.

The event’s Technology Showcase offers hands-on displays of the latest offerings from leading manufacturers like Kramer, Shure, Lencore, Lightware, Solutions360, Herman, Synnex, West Penn Wire, Williams Sound, and RDL. CompTIA is also sponsoring the event, leading one of the opening general sessions.

Sessions include:

  • The Real-World Guide to IT Certification
  •

  • Sales Strategies that Work
  •

  • 10 Ways to Become Even More Profitable
  •

  • Proper Project Planning & Scheduling
  •

  • What Do Labor Cost, Productivity, & Efficiency Have to Do With It?
  •

  • Understanding Breakeven, Markup, & Margin
  •

  • Minding Contractual Obligations
  •

  • Using Dashboards to Plan for the Future
  •

  • Establishing and Managing an Efficient Service Department

“With the feedback from attendees at our Integration Business Survival Conference & Technology Showcase in Chicago, we are now offering two more events to make it convenient for integrators to send their employees for affordable training,” says NSCA Executive Director Chuck Wilson. “By combining business education with technology training and a Technology Showcase full of products, we’re giving industry professionals the education they need – and then getting them back to their offices as quickly as possible.”

Registration for the two-day event is $99 for NSCA members and $199 for non-members. Registration includes access to the Technology Showcase, manufacturer training, business education, and all networking events.
