Potter Electric Provides Support for Child Burn Survivors

ST. LOUIS  — For the 10th consecutive year, Potter Electric Signal Co. served as a participant in the Missouri Children’s Burn Camp.

Held Aug. 6-12 at Camp Sabra in Rocky Mount, Mo., the Burn Camp is intended for for child burn survivors between the ages of 6-17 with severe burns. With the help of St. John’s Mercy Medical Center, Burns Recovered Support Group, which offers of burn survivor support along with aiding medical facilities and providing burn care education and prevention, has sponsored the event. Because of generous donations from sponsors, all participants of the Burn Camp, which hosts between 75 and 85 children every year, enjoy a week full of fun and support for free.
