Select Security Adds 2,600 Customers With Acquisitions

LANCASTER, Pa. —Select Security has added more than 2,600 new customers after recently acquiring three Pennsylvania security systems providers. All accounts will be monitored at the company’s Lancaster, Pa.-based central monitoring station.

The company acquired Franklin, Pa.-based Security & Fire Systems of Pennsylvania Inc.; Meadville, Pa.-based AllSecure Response Systems; and Poconos, Pa.-based Allied Alarm.

Security & Fire Systems and AllSecure Response Systems offices have been merged. Gary Moyse, former owner and president of Security & Fire Systems, will lead the combined sales teams.

In addition, Allied Alarm’s office has merged with Select’s Pocono Pines office. The operation,  which will be led by Allied’s former president David Smalley, has been relocated to Stroudsburg, Pa.

“These closings will allow Select to add density in our existing markets and provide new sales opportunities in Western Pennsylvania by offering additional services to the customer base,” says Pat Egan, president, Select Security.
