LogicMark Personal Emergency Response System
The personal emergency response system (PERS) market is hot. I have worked with this product line and was very impressed with the quality and features. LifeSentry offers the ability to summon assistance at any time with the touch of a button. It utilizes patented two-way voice communication right through the pendant for coverage in and around the home. The base station plugs into any standard telephone jack and can be programmed to contact any central station through Contact ID or 4 + 2 format.
LifeSentry PERS is great for dealers looking to increase their recurring monthly revenue (RMR). Simply program a primary and secondary number for the central station of your choice. The user will be able to communicate with the trained professional right through the pendant upon activation. Other features include: full supervision as pendant communicates with base station every 13 hours; audible prompts during setup, programming, testing and full system check; and pendant has rechargeable lithium-ion battery.
Medeco Wireless Lock Technology
The M100 eCylinder with Aperio wireless lock technology allows users to add access control to mechanical mortise locks with a change of a cylinder. Aperio is a wireless platform that connects the locking device and an Aperio hub to provide real-time communication to the access control system. It helps to simplify installation, reduce costs and complexity compared to traditional access control, according to the company.
Some key features: Utilizes IEEE 802.15.4 wireless communication; advanced data security with standard encryption techniques, AES 128-bit encryption; and supports HID 13.56MHz iCLASS (full authentication, all formats) credentials and 125KHz prox.
Raytec IP Addressable Illuminator
With the launch of VARIO IP addressable CCTV illuminator, users can not only adjust their IP cameras remotely, they can control their lighting in the same way via a user-friendly Web interface or video management system (VMS). VARIO IP is available in both infrared and white-light LED, and provides dedicated IP lighting for network cameras, allowing for remote setup, commissioning, operation and maintenance of your lighting scheme. Users have full control over their lighting at all times, to alter settings and instantly respond to live events in real-time or operational changes, for the best CCTV images and safety 24/7.
The solution makes it easier to operate large CCTV systems in a more secure and much greener way. It can be controlled individually or in groups by a variety of other security technologies, and scheduled using a timer for activation only when needed, to reduce electrical consumption even further.
System Sensor CO/Smoke Detector
The i4 Series combination carbon monoxide (CO)/smoke detector and interface module is said to be the first system-connected, combination solution for conventional fire systems. It is built on the principles of integration, installation ease, intelligence and instant inspection. With an integral sounder with Temporal 3 and Temporal 4 capability, the i4 detector sends distinct CO or smoke alerts to the panel and homeowner. The detector’s replaceable electrochemical CO cell can be functionally tested with canned CO and can be replaced at end-of-life without tools. Smoke sensitivity can be easily verified from a distance using the SENS-RDR reader.
The required i4 interface module enables the system to send distinct CO and smoke signals over two or four wires, reducing installation time and cost. It integrates up to 12 detectors to conventional panels and also allows interconnectivity, so when one device on the loop goes into alarm, they all sound. With two-wire devices, the module can be used to initiate a loop verification test. It can also be configured to send maintenance signals to either the panel’s “maintenance” or “smoke” zones.
Xtralis Detection/Recording Software
ADPRO IntrusionTrace, a downloadable software application for the FastTrace 2/2X, is i-LIDS approved as a primary detection system for operational alert use in sterile zone monitoring applications and as an event-based recording system for sterile zone monitoring applications. IntrusionTrace significantly reduces false alarms, allowing operators to monitor more sites more effectively. The product now offers headlight suppression and thermal camera support for reduced nuisance alarms.
Some features include: no additional hardware is required to enable primary detection in outdoor, sterile zone applications; Quickly and easily deployed using Xchange, an Xtralis proprietary tool deigned to deploy and commission Xtralis applications; and optimized for the toughest applications including night operation without external illumination.
