Clinton Electronics of Loves Park, Ill., unveils its Shadow Series DVR featuring a standalone Linux ASIC system that has been custom designed for digital video recording.
Available in four, eight- and 16-channel versions with a standard 1TB SATA HDD or configured to order for more storage, the product features D1 resolution, 1,080 HDMI monitor output and H.264 compression. With the CEC Connect mobile app, users can search and view live and recorded video, freeze the video, connect multiple devices to a single DVR and more.
The product also includes the company’s full remote SMS software, allowing users to remotely connect and command up to 10 DVRs on one screen.
