Digital IDView of Dallas releases the IV-LC-D431AF camera featuring a 3.3mm to 12mm lens which can be adjusted via the network. As the focal length is changed, the camera automatically adjusts the focus ring to maintain a clear, sharp image, according to the company.
The IP-66-rated camera, with wide dynamic range (WDR) functionality, can be installed using power over Ethernet (PoE). The built in SD card slot allows the camera to function as a miniature NVR or can be set as a fall back solution for those times when the network is down, according to the company. The product also features audio input and output jacks to provide users with two communication capabilities.
Users can set up the IP address via a direct USB connection or use the free scan IP software if connected to a DHCP enabled network.
