Toshiba Network Video Recorder
Irvine, Calif.-based Toshiba Surveillance & IP Network Video, a business unit of Toshiba America Information Systems, has combined fault tolerant engineering with multiformat support for up to 32 IP network cameras, including megapixel models, in its new NVS Series network video recorders.
Capable of speeds of up to 30 pictures-per-second per camera with audio, NVS recorders are a single-box networking solution for IP video applications demanding ultra-high resolution recording, mass storage capacity up to 4TB, and compatibility with cameras from Toshiba, Sony, Panasonic and Axis. Dozens of pan/tilt/zoom (p/t/z) control protocols are supported to assure compatibility with virtually any IP p/t/z camera, according to the company.
