Electronic Security Expo Heads to Charlotte, N.C., in 2011

The 2011 Electronic Security Expo (ESX) will take place June 6-10 in Charlotte, N.C., say ESX representatives.

Owned by the Electronic Security Association (ESA) and Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA), the event delivers education and networking opportunities to trade and channel security companies.

“We are thrilled with the growing success of ESX,” says Mike Miller, president of ESA. “The 2011 event will have a track record to live up to, and we’re sure that Charlotte will meet all of our high expectations.”

These high standards for education and networking will remain a priority in Charlotte. Preliminary plans to capitalize on Charlotte’s local strengths include educational focuses on banking/financial institutions and high-end residential vertical markets. ESX will also reach out to executives and security leaders at Charlotte’s business titans Duke Energy, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Bank of America and Time Warner Cable for presentations in its general sessions and seminar programs.

“I’m very excited to bring ESX to Charlotte,” says Ed Bonifas, president of CSAA. “The city has strong local security leaders that will assist us in studying the future of the industry in a new light. I’m looking forward to developing a conference program with these leaders that brings unparalleled value to our 2011 attendees.”
