Documentation To-Do List

1. Testing of a system ambush code should always be verified with the central station and performed directly with the subscriber on site, as well as documented with the subscriber in writing.

2. Subscribers should be warned in writing that changing their premises telephone lines or their particular type of phone service, can negatively affect successful signal transmission by the digital alarm communicator transmitter (DACT) of the system for central station monitoring.

3. All RJ-31X telephone jacks should be labeled to warn unaffiliated contractors an alarm system is connected to the respective telephone line and not to disconnect and/or tamper with it.
