Security ONE Acquires Homematix Systems
The super-regional security provider grows its footprint in the southwestern Ontario area.
Security ONE Alarm Systems acquired Homematix Systems for undisclosed terms.
LEAMINGTON, Ontario, Canada – Security ONE Alarm Systems, a super-regional electronic security and automation company, based here, has acquired customer accounts from Homematix Systems for undisclosed terms.
The purchase adds approximately 500 accounts to the company’s southwestern Ontario customer base.
“Homematix’s commitment to providing customers with outstanding service makes them a great fit for Security ONE,” says Corey Robertson, director of marketing, Security ONE. “They have been serving their [London, Ontario] community for 43 years, and we are proud to introduce Homematix customers to the local Security ONE team.”
The Homematix buy marks the first acquisition for the company this year, following a deal for Gladiator Security in Windsor, Ontario, in the fall of 2015. Homematix customers will have access to Security ONE’s portfolio of automated and smart home solutions, video surveillance, access control and fire/life-safety solutions.
