Dates Released for Campus Safety Magazine 2016 East and West Programs

The Campus Safety Conferences are the premier security and safety events that bring together law enforcement agencies and administrators from across the country as peers.

Campus Safety magazine, a sister publication of SSI, is pleased to announce that it will host both East and West Campus Safety Conferences this summer. Campus Safety Conference East will be held July 25-26 at the Gaylord Hotel in National Harbor, Md., and Campus Safety Conference West will be held Aug. 9-10 at the Hilton in Long Beach, Calif.

The Campus Safety Conferences are the premier security and safety events that bring together law enforcement agencies and administrators from across the country as peers. The programs offer one-of- a-kind training and networking opportunities where attendees will learn from industry experts, share ideas, hear experiences and build relationships with fellow administrators and security professionals. Attendees will also have the opportunity to obtain information on the latest campus safety and security products and services.

“Our attendees will hear and share the latest techniques and information on how they can better prepare and plan for a variety of emergency situations, protect their students and faculty, and respond to the many types of risks and incidents that occur at today’s educational facilities” says Amy Reddington, Event Director for the Campus Safety Conferences.

These two day conferences will be presented in partnership with Higher Education Sponsors Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) and University of Southern California (USC).

“USC’s Department of Public Safety has been a proud partner with Campus Safety magazine’s conferences for the past three years. These informative and engaging training conferences provides campus safety professionals with invaluable opportunities to learn, network, share ideas, and explore the current risks and incidents occurring on our academic campuses. The Campus Safety Conference is an event that we look forward to each year” states Chief John Thomas.
