10 ISC West 2015 Exhibitor Previews

Find out what leading vendors like Allegion, Hikvision and NAPCO have planned for booth visitors come April 15.

Although there is a lot of vendor hype leading up to the industry’s biggest security dealer/integrator trade show, ISC West, most play it very close to the vest and wait for the actual event to reveal product/technology details. However, I managed to cobble together 10 of the leading suppliers showing their hands a little more than most. What follows is a glance at what those exhibitors have in store April 15-17 in Las Vegas. Take a look, and be sure to also visit the Security Sales & Integration booth (No. 17144).

Allegion (Booth 18063)

Allegion will showcase one of the industry’s newest connectivity platforms, ENGAGE technology, at ISC West. The platform is designed to connect people, openings and access together for cost-effective intelligence and efficiency within a facility. Schlage NDE Series wireless locks with ENGAGE technology are Wi-Fi enabled, allowing them to connect to an IT network for automatic daily updates. With the introduction of the ENGAGE gateway during the conference, Allegion will now offer the ability to manage, update and monitor in real-time when connected over RS485 or IP to an alliance member system.

Digital Watchdog (Booth 25089)

Digital Watchdog will show the DW Spectrum IP VMS, what the company calls the easiest to use and most powerful software in the industry. See what 30fps looks like from a multisensor 180° view camera, MEGApix PANO at 1080p, 8MP and 48MP total resolution. The company suggests checking out the MEGApix 5x PTZ for its speed and image clarity. In addition to a preview of Security Center version 5.3, Genetec will showcase the unified communications capabilities of its SIP-based intercom management module, Sipelia, and its new Cloud Archives Service.

Stick around to play a security industry-themed “Jeopardy.”

Comprising a range of IP cameras, NVRs and monitors – including 4K UHD and H.265 capability – DirectIP is said to deliver plug-and-play simplicity combined with high-quality performance, compatibility, and a low total cost of ownership. The DirectIP framework tackles compatibility and the issues associated with existing protocols.

March Networks (Booth 26041)

March Networks will show Searchlight 4 for Banking, a video-based business intelligence solution that provides banks and credit unions with insights into customer service, operations and marketing.
