Jan 2, 2008, EXTON, PA. -- The Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) has awarded The Protection Bureau its Five Diamond Certification.
The award confirms that 100 percent of the company’s central station operators have achieved proficiency and certification by passing the CSAA Central Station Operator Training Course Level 1.
All operators must also demonstrate knowledge of electronic communication equipment, proficiency in alarm verification, communications with Public Service Answering Points and emergency preparedness, and understanding of codes and standards.
There are approximately 2,700 central stations in the United States, with fewer than 100 having achieved Five Diamond Certification, according to the CSAA.
