ADT Pulse Mobile App Gets Redesigned for Improved Customer Usability

The updated Pulse mobile app includes a customizable dashboard and improved app performance.

BOCA RATON, Fla. — ADT recently unveiled its new ADT Pulse mobile app. The redesigned app now features a customizable dashboard and improved app performance

ADT Pulse, which was first introduced in 2010, allows customers to arm and disarm their security system and access smart home automation features, such as lighting and temperature control, from anywhere through a tablet or smartphone.

“Consumers are witnessing incredible innovation in the home automation space, and the new ADT Pulse app was inspired by our commitment to deliver the best customer-service experience in the industry,” says Jamie Haenggi, chief marketing officer, ADT. “With our customers’ feedback in mind, we’re excited to personalize their mobile experience based on their priorities, all backed by ADT’s 24/7 professional monitoring.”

The app features a sleek design, improved performance and customizable dashboard, allowing customers to personalize frequently-used features, according to the company.

ADT Pulse subscribers also now have the ability to see all of their cameras on one screen. A new FAQ and Help section has also been added to the app.

This past ISC West, ADT announced that the interactive security and smart-home platform surpassed 2 million customers. ADT Pulse would have the second most residential subscribers in North America if it were a stand-alone security company.

Most recently, ADT launched an ADT Pulse Alexa skill, allowing Alexa to arm and disarm a Pulse system through voice commands and a secure PIN, turn on and off lights and other connected home features.

The latest version of the app is available to download on the Apple and Google Play app stores.

The new app is horrible. Too long to connect to anything. Should have left well enough alone.
Looking to switch to another company.

  2. Don lynch says:

The new app sucks. For 2 weeks I have not been able to access live pics on my cameras called customer service numerous times. Was told they are working on it. Anyone else have this issue? I am on the verge of canceling the service.

  3. Mel Miller says:

App doesn’t work on my Android cell phone or tablet. C’mon ADT . . . Fix it!

  4. Brittany Haas says:

New app is terrible!!! I haven’t been able to use it for over a month now. Paid tons of money to be able to open and close my garage with the app and haven’t been able to for over a month. The videos are never live. Please fix this app!!!

  5. ERIC HOLLAND says:

This is incorrect, ADT has gotten worse. I have called multiple times and still no resolution. I log in with my app, the video does not load or loads slower. It does not let me play back clips. The worst part is I get emailed a notification that I am Locked out due to multiple attempts. Yet I can log back in? I am paying for absolutely POOR service and quality. Please contact me or I will report to BBB.
