Joint efforts by the California Alarm Association (CAA) and the police department here have resulted in improving the city’s alarm ordinance, the Security Industry Alarm Coalition (SIAC) announces.

California Alarm Association (CAA) announced during the ISC West Leadership Breakfast Wednesday that Patty Hartman will be the 2012 recipient of the George A. Weinstock Award for lifetime achievement and service to the security industry. Hartman, a former two-term president of CAA, is the first female to receive the award.
