OEM Agreement Between Ingersoll Rand and XceedID Boosts Schlage Brand
GOLDEN, Colo.
Through an OEM agreement between XceedID Corp.,
manufacturer of access control readers, and Ingersoll Rand
(IR) Security Technologies, a security manufacturer and
systems integrator, the ISO-X line of multitechnology
readers will be private labeled under the Schlage brand.
“Through our XceedID Ingersoll Rand partnership, we will
now be able to offer the most comprehensive reader solution
in the industry. Competitively priced multitechnology
readers provide our customer base with unprecedented
flexibility. The product platform allows seamless migration
from old proximity technology to new higher security
contactless technology,” says Gary D’Aries, IR global
marketing manager.
XceedID’s ISO-X reader family can read proximity and
smart card serial numbers as well as the data application
areas of a number of contactless smart cards using the same
reader device. They also support HID proximity, GE/CASI
ProxLite and contactless smart cards including XceedID ISO-
X, Infineon my-d, Philips MYFARE, Philips MYFARE DESFire,
and HID iClass.
