The new Tyco Software House iSTAR Ultra G2 is a powerful, cyber-hardened network door controller that supports up to 32 readers. Built using a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE), iSTAR Ultra G2’s rock-solid, hardware-based cyber protection guarantees confidentiality of code and data, and includes advanced enterprise features such as OSDP encrypted, two-way reader communications and peer-to-peer clustering. With leading-edge network security features, including embedded High Assurance FICAM operation, iSTAR Ultra G2 meets the most demanding access control requirements of enterprise commercial and government applications. iSTAR Ultra G2 also features a hardened Linux kernel for its operating system, thus improving the security and scalability of the system.

Rack mount and wall-mount options provide installation flexibility, while iSTAR Ultra G2’s unique lock power management eliminates the need for separate lock power interface boards. And it has the same hardware configuration and connection points as its predecessor, iSTAR Ultra, providing design and installation consistency.
