ABLOY to Showcase High Security Access Control for Critical Infrastructure at ISC East
ABLOY USA’s PROTEC2 CLIQ Connect mobile app and PROTEC2 padlock work together to provide a durable solution for facility managers.
IRVING, Texas — ABLOY USA will showcase its PROTEC2 CLIQ Connect mobile app and PROTEC2 Super Weather Proof (SWP) padlock at ISC East 2019, taking place Nov 20-21 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.
“These two solutions were well received at the GSX Show in Chicago two months ago. Many of the people who visited our booth said both exceeded their expectations,” says Jerry Burhans, managing director of ABLOY USA. “”PROTEC2 CLIQ Connect and the SWP padlock are the type of solutions that will redefine physical access for secured properties. Many people who attend ISC East were not at GSX and the Javits Center is a great venue. The ABLOY PROTEC2 CLIQ Connect is an access control mobile app that is said to improve a large organization’s security and efficiency levels. It gives facility managers the power to control access rights to assigned keys and an audit trail for both locks and keys. CLIQ web manager software can be used to allow users to update, amend, renew or revoke access rights remotely.
Mobile users open the app for updated access permission that is transferred to their programmable CLIQ key via Bluetooth. Lost keys can be activated without the need for mechanical keying.
“The capabilities of the CLIQ Connect app makes it a very good fit for a wide range of industries with critical infrastructure security needs,” continues Burhans. “Utilities, rail transportation, gas and energy companies, municipal water treatment facilities and others have demanding federal regulations and guidelines to meet. Those with critical assets can benefit from using CLIQ Connect.”
The ABLOY PROTEC2 SWP padlock is best suited for high-risk and high-value industry sectors such as critical infrastructure, government and defense end users, according to the company.
