Camden Door Controls Adds Free Latch Monitoring

Camden Door Controls includes free latch monitoring across its entire line of electric door strikes, including fire-rated units.

Camden Door Controls, the Mississauga, Ontario-based manufacturer of electric strikes, has included latch monitoring at no extra charge across the entire Camden line, including its CX-ED1579L Grade 1 fire rated “all-in-one” electric strikes. Including built-in latch-bolt monitoring at no additional cost saves installers hundreds of dollars by eliminating the need to stock or order different strike models. In addition, Camden CX-ED1579L strikes offer “Universal” performance with five stainless steel faceplates, field selectable voltage, and fail safe/fail secure operation.

Camden CX-ED1579L strikes are UL security and 3-hour fire rated, non-handed, and compatible with most mortise and cylindrical locksets. In addition, they feature adjustable latch monitor placement and easy-fit wiring connectors for power and monitoring.

“Camden is very proud to offer these CX-ED1579L Fire Rated all-in-one electric strikes,” says David Price, Camden’s Vice President Communications and Business Development. “They are an important part of Camden’s commitment to offering the best quality innovation, flexibility, and value available today.”
