Automatic Systems Introduces new FirstLane Speedgate Products

A new FirstLane Speedgate outdoor model from Automatic Systems will make its debut at the upcoming ISC West 2023 show in Las Vegas.

BROSSARD, Quebec—Automatic Systems, a manufacturer of pedestrian and vehicle entrance control access systems, has announced the expansion of its FirstLane speedgate line of products.

The Canadian manufacturer states that the FirstLane speedgate product line provides users a modern design that combines glass and various materials and finishes, as well as interactive lighting for a more intuitive user experience. These newest models to the Automatic Systems pedestrian portfolio feature an attractive minimalist design, which allows them to fit perfectly in environments where a medium level of security is required.

“We use top quality materials and state-of-the-art technology to ensure that the FirstLane speed gates are highly reliable and suitable for any architectural environment, from classic to modern and everything in between.”

FirstLane Speedgate Products Available for Indoor and Outdoor Applications

According to Automatic Systems, that with this expansion the FirstLane speedgate products are now also available in an outdoor model, in addition to its classic black-painted steel housing model. Automatic Systems points out that it will be showcasing the FirstLane Plus outdoor model in Booth # 6071 at ISC West in Las Vegas on March 29 to 31, 2023.

Automatic Systems emphasizes the new FirstLane speedgate has retained all of the original model’s technical features and it adds slimmer, more elegant LEDs to offer a more refined look while retaining Automatic Systems’ reliability.

The company also points out the FirstLane Plus speedgate comes with aerodynamic obstacles that are designed to withstand outdoor conditions, which are certified by its IP44 rating. All models are now available with obstacles of different heights from 35 to 70 inches to help to prevent fraud by physically blocking access to unauthorized individuals attempting to jump over the equipment.

In addition, the FirstLane series provides a high bi-directional throughput without compromising users’ safety.
