Extreme CCTV Goes Public With IPO

Extreme CCTV Inc. has gone public by concluding its Initial Public Offering (IPO) earlier this year. The maker of infrared illuminators and video surveillance products is now being traded on the Canadian Venture Exchange (CDNX) under the symbol EXC.

The company says it intends to use proceeds from the IPO to repay all the long-term debt used to finance the May 31, 2001 purchase of Derwent Systems Ltd., a U.K.-based designer of infrared illuminators.
