Greater Alarm Golf Event Nets $47,500 for Cancer Charity
In September 1999, The Greater Alarm Co.’s 2nd Annual Charity Golf Classic netted $47,500 for the Kids Cancer Connection, nearly 50-percent more than the inaugural tournament in 1998. Kids Cancer Connection is dedicated to programs that address the social, emotional and educational needs of children battling cancer and providing support to their families.
Actor Keifer Sutherland and former California Angel Clyde Wright were among the celebrities on hand for the tournament, dinner and silent auction. Sponsors of the event in-cluded ADI, Ademco, Detection Systems, Genesis Cable Systems, Radionics, Sentrol, Anatec, Frametpme Tec, HID Corp., Tri-Ed Distribution and others.
