Check out the latest surveillance cameras, access and video management systems and more that were on display at ASIS 2017.
DALLAS — The 63rd Annual ASIS International Seminar and Exhibits is in the books. Over 500 exhibitors proudly showcased the latest and greatest security products their companies had to offer.
Notable events included former President George W. Bush’s keynote, which kicked off the week’s festivities and a terrorism response panel featuring former Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis, London Police Detective Chief Superintendent Paul Barnard and Massachusetts General Hospital Executive Director of Police, Security and Outside Services Bonnie Michelmann.
I am happy to report that it looks like the security industry is finally beginning to take cybersecurity seriously. It was one of the first points that was brought up by almost every company I spoke to.
Deep learning and a focus on the retail vertical are two more trends that were apparent during this year’s show.
With thousands of people roaming the show floor, it was easy to miss the occasional booth. But never fear, SSI is here!
SSI has rounded up 10 new security products ranging from security cameras, to access control, to robotics, that companies were showing on the ASIS 2017 floor.
