ASIS’ New Leader Rises to Her Workload

Shirley Pierini, the vice president of corporate security and safety for Ameriquest Mortgage Corp., is ASIS Int’l‘s 2004 president.

Pierini, based in Orange, Calif., has more than 25 years of experience in corporate security management and law enforcement, including 18 years at ASIS. Pierini says there won’t be an issue with much of the ASIS staff being based on the East Coast.

“I’m an early person. They laugh at me at headquarters because I’m in the office when they are … at 5:30 am,” says Pierini.
