Radionics, Detection Systems Each Take Home 2 NPS Awards
LAS VEGAS—Radionics’ D6600 NetCom fire alarm system was given the Best of Show Award, also known as the Innovation Award, by the Security Industry Association (SIA) at its New Product Showcase (NPS) awards ceremony, held during ISC West at the Las Vegas Convention Center (March 3-5). The same product also won the association’s Product Achievement Award for monitoring.
Detection Systems also won two NPS awards. Its DS9370 high-ceiling mount PIR won the Product Achievement Award for Intrusion/Detection/Prevention and its DS7240 control/communicator won the Judge’s Choice Award in the residential products category.

Product Achievement Award for Fire Detection/Prevention: Advent fire, Interlogix Security and Life Safety GroupProduct Achievement Award for Integrated Systems: Velocity v2.0, Hirsch Electronics
Judge’s Choice Award for Commercial Products: S734DV four-channel video and two-way multiprotocol data system, Fiber Options
