“With IPVideo’s access commander unique integration of video surveillance and door access, a cardswipe at the door can be captured and ‘bookmark’ video for easy retrieval,” says David Antar, president of IPVideo. “Searches based on cardswipes will quickly pull up the video. If an entry card is lost or if video shows an unauthorized person entering with it, the entry card can be disabled immediately and remotely. This helps to provide a safe environment for students and staff and eliminates the need to re-key locks.”
The integrating software’s common graphic user interface also simplifies installation and training, day-to-day monitoring, researching alarms and incidents, as well as school staff’s administration of the system. It provides exterior and interior maps that interactively show door locations and even has the ability to bring up live cameras by just placing a mouse over the icon on the map.
