GREASQUE, France—STid, a developer of security and identification solutions, has achieved a new turning point in access security with the announcement of EN17640 certification for its flagship application, STid Mobile ID.
Following its development of its certified reader and communication protocol, STid reaffirmed its position at the forefront of security during the 2024 Expo Protection exhibition in Paris.
The French company explains that EN17640 certification recognizes a high level of reliability for its STid Mobile ID in securing identities and access, ensuring compliance with the stringent requirements of GDPR, SecNumCloud, and ISO27001. STid asserts that through this certification, organizations of all sizes can now rely on a secure, intuitive mobile identification solution with robust data protection. The company stresses the extensive certification process was conducted in collaboration with Cabinet Louis Reynaud and its certification department.

STid boasts that it has distinguished itself through its ability to anticipate the security needs of businesses and sensitive infrastructures. The company points out that it has been previously recognized for achieving ANSSI certification for components of the security chain. The company also emphasizes that its products consistently meet the strictest market standards and the most demanding European regulations.
The company adds the EN17640 certification of the STid Mobile ID application underscores its commitment to building high performance end-to-end security systems. STid suggests that as a specialist in access control, protection it is capable of extending beyond designing highly advanced products to also encompass interoperability and intuitive solutions.
Moreover, the French manufacturer recalls that it has previously launched a digital badge application in 2014 that combines intuitiveness and interoperability that businesses of all types can also employ.
