Jensen Hughes Acquires Consulting Firm Case Forensics Corp.

Jensen Hughes has acquired Case Forensics Corp. for undisclosed terms.
BALTIMORE, Md. – Jensen Hughes, a global provider of fire protection engineering, fire code consulting and related life safety services, has completed the acquisition of Seattle-based Case Forensics Corp. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Based in Seattle with nine offices throughout the Western United States, Case Forensics specializes in forensic science and engineering consulting services to risk managers, property owners, manufacturers, attorneys, insurance companies and various government entities. The company’s team of consultants, architects, scientists and engineers provide scientific analysis, forensic and laboratory testing, and litigation support and expert testimony services for technical situations.
Jensen Hughes is majority-owned by Gryphon Investors, a middle market private equity firm based in San Francisco, which purchased the company in partnership with management in December 2015. This is the third acquisition that Jensen Hughes has completed in 2016. The acquisition further supports the company’s specialized science, research and litigation consulting services which its provides worldwide through its more than 70 offices in North America, Asia and the Middle East.
