Qolsys IQ Panel 2 Plus Chosen for D.R. Horton Smart Home Solution
The IQ Panel and Z-Wave devices are installed and connected in each house prior to the sale by professionally licensed and trained security contractors.
The Qolsys connected home solution has been included with every D.R. Horton home since October 2018.
SAN JOSE, Calif. — Qolsys announces the Qolsys IQ Panel 2 Plus has been selected by D.R. Horton (NYSE: DHI), said to be the largest homebuilder in the United States, to provide the hub for the company’s smart home solution.
The national homebuilder’s “Home Is Connected” smart home system is included in the base price of each new home from the company’s family of brands.
Along with the Qolsys IQ Panel 2 Plus panel, the system includes an intrusion alarm and automation platform by Alarm.com, Honeywell Home thermostat from Resideo, door locks by Kwikset, smart switches by Eaton Corp., video doorbell by SkyBell and hands free, voice-first experiences with Amazon Alexa.
