Snap One Partner Portal Adds Qolsys and DSC PowerG Sensors
Snap One is adding the Qolsys and DSC security product lines to its portfolio as a result of its merger with ADI.
CHARLOTTE, N.C.—Snap One, an ADI brand, is adding Qolsys and DSC PowerG security sensors to the Snap One Partner Portal.
ADI and Snap One explain the availability of these products to the Snap One Partner Portal is a direct result of the integration of Snap One and ADI and they assert the additions strengthen the company’s security offering.
“The addition of Qolsys and PowerG sensors, locks, and lights by DSC to the Snap One portfolio provides our customers with another compelling reason to choose us as their security provider,” states Clint Choate, security market director for Snap One. “These additions enhance our customers’ buying power, complement our existing offerings, and leverage integration with existing systems including Control4. Plus, with training and support, our customers can get up to speed quickly to deliver high-quality security solutions tailored to the ever-evolving needs of their end customers.”
Snap One Partner Portal Provides Access to a Wealth of Products
Snap One emphasizes the entire line of Qolsys Panels integrates with the Control4 platform, allowing these products to operate as part of a complete, unified smart home system. Additionally, Qolsys Panels and select DSC sensors utilize Alarm.com’s backend platform for alarm transport, remote monitoring and control capabilities. Snap One suggests this makes integration and installation simple for integrators who are interested in adding these new brands to their projects.
Through the availability of these products through the Snap One Partner Portal dealers benefit from Qolsys’ ability to support the Z-Wave protocol, giving Snap One customers the freedom to integrate a wide range of third-party Z-Wave devices into their security and control solutions, such as door locks, garage door openers, thermostats, and light switches, for a secure and connected smart home experience. With DSC’s industrial-grade 900 MhZ PowerG system, customers can tap into the commercial sector, offering enterprise-grade security solutions for small businesses, large warehouses, offices and distribution centers.
“With everything from Z-Wave-enabled security panels, touchscreens, and sensors to high-res surveillance cameras, as well as a full-range of traditional motion, glass break, flood, smoke and CO2 sensors and sirens, our customers have more options to design and implement comprehensive security solutions for residential and commercial environments alike,” adds Choate. “Remote management and monitoring through Alarm.com further enhance these offerings.”
