Allied Universal Named Presenting Sponsor of College Football’s 2024 Lott IMPACT Trophy
The Lott IMPACT Trophy is presented annually to the nation’s top college football defensive player who also makes an impact off the field.

IRVINE, Calif. — Global security and facility services company Allied Universal is the presenting sponsor of the 2024 Lott IMPACT Trophy, according to a company announcement.
The Lott IMPACT Trophy is a college football award presented annually to the nation’s top defensive player, who “also exhibits the characteristics of Ronnie Lott by making an IMPACT on and off the field. IMPACT is an acronym for integrity, maturity, performance, academics, community and tenacity.”
“Allied Universal is the leading defender of safety and security, protecting people, businesses and communities in more than 100 countries around the globe,” says Steve Jones, global chairman and CEO of Allied Universal, in the company announcement.
“So, it makes perfect sense for one great defender to present an award to another great defender,” he says. “We are excited to play a part in recognizing this year’s recipient and want to wish all finalists the best of luck.”
Why Allied Universal is Sponsoring Lott IMPACT Award
The Lott IMPACT Trophy was named in honor of Ronnie Lott, a two time All-American for USC and College Football Hall of Fame Inductee. Lott won four Super Bowls with the San Francisco 49ers, made 10 trips to the Pro Bowl and earned a spot in Pro Football’s Hall of Fame.
Like Lott, the trophy’s winner “makes an IMPACT on and off the field,” according to the announcement. IMPACT is an acronym for integrity, maturity, performance, academics, community and tenacity.
The 2024 semifinalist class includes four defensive lineman, two linebackers and three defensive backs:

Barrett Carter, LB, Clemson, Senior
Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State, Sophomore
Mason Graham, DT, Michigan, Junior
Jay Higgins, LB, Iowa, 5th Year
Travis Hunter, CB, Colorado, Junior
Mikali Kamara, DL, Indiana, Redshirt Junior
Nic Scourton, DE, Texas A&M, Junior
Xavier Watts, S, Notre Dame, Grad Senior
A national voter poll will select the winner of the Lott IMPACT® Trophy, which will be presented on Dec. 9. The Lott IMPACT Trophy presentation will be hosted by Joel Klatt of Fox Sports.
