John Petruzzi Jr. Honored with ASIS International President’s Award of Merit
ASIS President’s Award of Merit recognizes ‘distinguished contributions to security profession and ASIS International.’

HERNDON, Va. – Unlimited Technology Inc. just announced that CEO John Petruzzi Jr. has been awarded the President’s Award of Merit by ASIS International.
This annual award is presented by the ASIS International president to a member who “has demonstrated exceptional service, achievement and contributions to the security profession and the organization,” according to the announcement.
Petruzzi was recognized for “his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to advancing the
security industry,” the announcement says. His “outstanding contributions have significantly enhanced the knowledge and practice of the security profession.
Beyond his role at Unlimited Technology, Petruzzi’s influence “reflects a deep dedication to the security industry, exceptional service to ASIS International and support for affiliated organizations within the sector,” according to the company announcement.

The award “highlights Petruzzi’s exemplary service and leadership, reinforcing his position as a key figure in shaping the future of security practices and policies,” the announcement says.
With three decades of experience in the security industry, Petruzzi is an industry volunteer and served as president of the ASIS International global board of directors in 2021.
He has led business units for fully integrated security service providers and managed high-performing teams delivering risk-based cyber and physical security services for Fortune 500 companies in the financial services, energy, commercial real estate and telecommunications sectors.
A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, John Petruzzi Jr. served as a noncommissioned officer and holds CPP, CISM and CBCP certifications.
