ABLOY Hires Kory Hamill as New Transportation Vertical Market Manager

Hamill joins ABLOY Critical Infrastructure Global Solutions after nine years in the transportation industry.

IRVING, Texas — ABLOY Critical Infrastructure Global Solutions announces it has Kory Hamill as its new vertical market manager for transportation.

Based in St. Louis and responsible for a nationwide territory, he reports to Managing Director Jerry Burhans.

Hamill has spent the last nine years in the transportation industry. Most recently he was a regional sales manager for Modern Tech Equipment, one of the largest Midwest organic equipment suppliers where he sold heavy equipment to public works departments in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Missouri, according to the company. Previously, he worked in sales at Enterprise Holdings.

“My strengths include having the ability to build relationships quickly and maintaining those relationships for the long term. I think that’s an important aspect in the critical infrastructure security market,” says Hamill, who will be in the ABLOY Critical Infrastructure booth (#538) at the upcoming ITS Congress. The event takes place Sept. 18-22 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

ABLOY notes that Hamill feels at home on the road, having visited half of the 50 states and 13 foreign countries. He is a graduate of Southwest Missouri State University with a degree in Business and Marketing.

“My skill set is built on listening to the customer and finding the best solution for their needs,” continues Hamill. “We have a number of products that can help them to better protect their assets, such as the ABLOY PROTEC2 CLIQ system. I’m looking forward to getting on the road to meet with them.”
