Affiliated Monitoring Wins 2020 TMA/SSI Monitoring Technology Marvel Award
The Marvel Award recognizes monitoring centers for creating and/or using cutting-edge technology and to raise awareness of these new technologies.
Affiliated Monitoring is based in Union, N.J.
McLEAN, Va. — Affiliated Monitoring of Union, N.J., is the recipient of the 2020 TMA/SSI Monitoring Technology Marvel Award.
The Marvel Award is co-sponsored by Security Sales & Integration and The Monitoring Association and coordinated by the TMA Technology Committee. The objective of the Marvel is to provide recognition for monitoring centers creating and/or using cutting-edge technology, and to raise awareness of these new technologies.
TMA and SSI Editor-in-Chief/Associate Publisher Scott Goldfine bestowed the Marvel Award to Affiliated Monitoring during a virtual presentation on Wednesday. The monitoring firm’s Managing Director Mike Zydor accepted the award on behalf of company. In selecting Affiliated Monitoring for the award, a panel of judges noted the company’s AlertMessage and CareAlert products.
Past Marvel Award winners: NMC in 2018 and CPI Security in 2019.
The Marvel Award is presented annually to one overall winner for the “best adoption of new technology to advance your business.” Submissions can include implementations of the following categories:
- Best implementation of video verification
- Best implementation of PERS monitoring
- Best technology to build efficiency in monitoring
- Best migration to the Cloud
- New levels of efficiency or effectiveness within the business
- Heightened level of protection or privacy (physical and cybersecurity)
The 2020 Marvel Award runners-up are ADT and COPS Monitoring. Affiliated Monitoring will be featured in the August 2020 Monitoring Issue of SSI. The runners-up will also receive coverage in the issue.
