16 Can’t-Miss Educational Sessions at ISC West 2018
There are over 85 education sessions at ISC West this year spanning a variety of topics. Here are 16 that will help you get to the head of the electronic security class.

With more than 1,000 exhibit booths to peruse at ISC West 2018 in Las Vegas, it can be easy to overlook the many educational sessions being offered. That would be unfortunate because the event’s organizers have been working hard to offer a diverse and relevant array of offerings featuring presenters and topics from all levels of the electronic/physical security channel.
This year there are in excess of 85 sessions being conducted. Of course, not all of them are geared toward security dealers and integrators, and it’s also wise to vet based on who is presenting in terms of qualifications and agenda.
I have pored through the entire list, weeding out irrelevant topics and vendor-centric sessions, to recommend the 16 courses that follow. The good news is if they turn out not to be so hot none of them are longer than an hour; the bad news is some of them overlap and so you may need to make some tough choices.
Speaking of tough choices, the second and third day of presentations take place during exhibit hours so that means missing some time on the floor viewing products, demonstrations and networking. Some of the courses feature experts with close ties to Security Sales & Integration, including columnists Paul Boucherle and Peter Giacalone, and Editorial Advisory Board member Bill Bozeman (also an industry Hall of Famer).
And now, here are 16 educational sessions to help you get to the head of the electronic security class:
