CGL Electronic Security Launches Franchise Group; Reveals First Office

The New England-based systems integrator will look to expand its business nationally by adopting the CGL franchise model.

WESTWOOD, Mass. — Systems integrator CGL Electronic Security has launched a new franchise group, CGL Technologies, to grow its national business while continuing to deliver high-level security services to clients.

The new franchise group will partner with CGL Electronic Security, based here, to further increase the company’s reach throughout the continental United States. John Nemerofsky, who has a history of success building teams and a strong track record of leadership in the security industry, has been named president of the new company.

“The combination of CGL’s integration expertise and the history of John Nemerofsky’s success establishing new ventures will provide our clients the ability and confidence to use our services for all their locations,” says Ron Ludvigsen,CEO of CGL Electronic Security.

CGL Technologies announced the opening of its first office, located in Philadelphia, which will be headed by security industry veterans Remo Patitucci and Jon McCormack. McCormack and Patitucci, who together operated Paramount Security Partners in Philadelphia, chose a CGL Technologies franchise as their best strategic long-term plan, according to the announcement.

“We are thrilled about this next chapter in our business,” McCormack says. “This model allows us to maintain full ownership of our company, while also being able to utilize the strength and resources available through CGL Technologies.”

The office will continue to service growth in a wide variety of vertical markets including property management, higher education, healthcare, manufacturing, transportation, food distribution, among others.

“We built our business around a company culture that always put our customers and employees first. Seeing how our two cultures were so complimentary, it made perfect sense to join forces with CGL,” says Patitucci. “We are excited about the future and look forward to continuing on our path of building a great company.”

Franchisees are provided training and support assistance in funding, the selling power of CGL Electronic Security’s reputable brand, the use of an established business model, regional and national advertising campaigns and more, according to CGL. Enhanced technician training and customer service initiatives will also be provided to ensure faster growth for franchise owners.

“Our operations group will provide seamless integration of financial services, operations workflow and sales analytics, while still delivering the highest level of customer service to the market place,” adds Tony Federico, COO of CGL Technologies.
