CPI Security Awarded 2nd Annual TMA/SSI Marvel Award at ESX
CPI representatives accepted the award during an opening celebration Monday evening to kick-off the 2019 Electronic Security Expo (ESX) in Indianapolis.
The Marvel Award is co-sponsored by Security Sales & Integration and The Monitoring Association (formerly CSAA) and coordinated by the TMA Technology Committee. The objective of the Marvel is to provide recognition for monitoring centers creating and/or using cutting-edge technology, and to raise awareness of these new technologies.
CPI Security representatives accepted the award during an opening celebration Monday evening to kick-off the 2019 Electronic Security Expo (ESX) in Indianapolis. CPI Security submitted an application that outlined how the company has implemented contact center technology that allows agents chat and texting capabilities. The company also implemented self-service options that allow users to manage their contacts and passwords, revamped interactive voice response (IVR) for more accurate call routing and began participating in the ASAP-to-PSAP program
CPI Security operates offices in a dozen locations across North Carolina and South Carolina, along with offices in Atlanta and Knoxville, Tenn. The company’s winning entry — chosen for the “best adoption of new technology to advance your business” — will be featured in SSI’s August publication, themed The Monitoring Issue. Marvel Award runner-up Securens Systems, based in Mumbai, India, will also receive coverage in the August issue.
Following two years of development, The Marvel program was unveiled in late 2017. Lake Forest, Calif.-based National Monitoring Center (NMC) won the inaugural award in 2018 for demonstrating excellence and leadership in the category of Best Implementation of Video Monitoring.
