Electronic Security Expo 2020 Canceled; Virtual Event Being Explored
Registration fees for the 2020 event will be applied to ESX 2021, which will take place June 15-18, 2021, in Louisville, Ky.
The leadership of the Electronic Security Expo announced Monday it has decided to cancel ESX 2020, originally scheduled for June 9-12 in Nashville, “based on the well-being of our community.”
Cancellation of the 13th annual trade show, a joint collaboration between the Electronic Security Association (ESA) and The Monitoring Association (TMA, follows several other industry events that have been derailed or postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The announcement on the event’s website states the leadership “held out hope we would be able to hold ESX in 2020.” However, that ultimately was not possible “due to the unavailability of the venue during a time which makes sense for our attendees.”
Registration fees for the 2020 event will be applied to ESX 2021, which will take place June 15-18, 2021, in Louisville, Ky.
The announcement on the ESX website includes the following FAQs:
